Description

CSA Tax delivers tailored tax preparation and planning support for individuals and small businesses year-round. On or about December 2, 2025, CSA Tax learned of a disruption to its computer network that it identified as a data breach. The company promptly launched an investigation into the incident. As part of the investigation, CSA Tax engaged a third‑party computer forensic specialist. The forensic investigation was completed on January 22, 2026. The investigation determined that certain personal information stored on the company’s network had been accessed without authorization. The affected information may include sensitive client data such as names combined with Social Security numbers.

CSA Tax began sending notice letters to affected clients on February 20, 2026. Edelson Lechtzin LLP, a national class action law firm based in suburban Philadelphia, is investigating data privacy claims on behalf of CSA Tax clients whose data may have been compromised.
