Timeline
Summary
Green Clinic in Ruston, Louisiana experienced disrupted care after staff lost access to electronic records and appointment schedules, which local sources described as a cyberattack. Most doctors were unable to see patients, with some continuing visits using paper documentation, while staff could not contact patients to cancel appointments because schedules and contact information were unavailable. The clinic remained open but showed little activity at its main Ruston site, and it is unclear whether its other locations in Ruston and Hodge were affected. Allegiance Health Management, which acquired the clinic, has not publicly confirmed the cause, and unnamed sources said a group called Wallstreet contacted the clinic electronically, though no ransom demand or leak site listing has been verified. Loss of access to patient records raised questions about the information they contain, but the clinic has not disclosed whether records were stolen, deleted or merely inaccessible.

Description
On Friday, staff at Green Clinic’s main Ruston location reported that electronic health record and appointment scheduling systems went offline. Employees told the Lincoln Parish Journal that most doctors were unable to see patients when the outlet visited the clinic on Tuesday, while some continued appointments using paper documentation. The loss of system access prevented staff from contacting patients to cancel or reschedule appointments because schedules and contact information were unavailable. Journal reporters noted little activity at the normally busy Farmerville Street site during their visits on Tuesday and Wednesday. The clinic operates three care sites in Ruston and a fourth in Hodge, which was closed for renovations at the time, and sources indicated the disruption affected the main Ruston clinic, though the status of the other sites remained unclear. Patients in Ruston experienced delayed or missed care as a result of the outage.
Unnamed sources inside the clinic told the Journal that the outage was attributed to a cyberattack and that a group called Wallstreet had contacted the clinic electronically, although the Journal could not verify the messages or any ransom demand. Green Clinic and its owner, Allegiance Health Management, have not publicly confirmed the cause of the disruption, and Allegiance did not respond to the Journal’s phone, email, or in‑person requests as of Wednesday evening. DysruptionHub examined Wallstreet’s leak site on October 8 and found no listing for Green Clinic. The outlet could not determine whether patient records had been stolen, deleted, or merely rendered inaccessible, and the clinic has not disclosed any finding on data exposure. No verified public restoration notice from Green Clinic had emerged by Thursday, leaving the timeline for system recovery unspecified.
