On December 1, 2020, Solairus Aviation disclosed a data breach that originated from a security incident at its vendor Avianis. An unauthorized party gained access to Avianis’s cloud environment, exposing personal data held by Solairus Aviation. The compromised information included names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license details, passport numbers, and financial account data of employees and clients. Solairus Aviation notified some of the affected individuals but acknowledged that it did not have current addresses for all potentially impacted parties.
