Official statements confirmed that the attack did not affect internal IT systems, and no data breach, loss of information, or compromise of confidential records was detected. The incident was formally reported to CERT Nord, and subsequent actions are being coordinated with the internet service provider and relevant security authorities to analyse the attack and reinforce defensive measures. As a municipal entity, Halberstadt’s administration is owned by the city itself, operates within the public sector, and does not have a parent company or subsidiary structure.
