West Bengal Public Health Engineering Department

In February 2014, the department’s website was compromised by the Pakistan Haxors Crew, who defaced the applications section with a political message demanding territorial sovereignty and an end to alleged espionage and violence against Muslims. The attackers claimed to have exfiltrated data, maintained persistent access to the defaced page and mirrored it on an external platform, while simultaneously targeting other government sites such as Nepal’s Community Irrigation Program as part of a broader campaign against regional infrastructure.
