Cyberoam is an Indian network security company that designs and sells unified threat management (UTM) solutions. Its product portfolio includes hardware firewalls, virtual private network (VPN) gateways, web filtering, anti‑spam, intrusion prevention and bandwidth management tools. These appliances are aimed at small and medium‑sized businesses, branch offices of larger enterprises, educational institutions and government departments. The company positions its offerings as all‑in‑one security platforms that combine multiple protective functions in a single device. Cyberoam’s technology is built around proprietary ASIC‑based processors that aim to deliver high throughput with low latency.

The firm’s solutions are deployed both as physical appliances and as virtual editions that can run on hypervisors or cloud infrastructure. The 2015‑12‑31 incident, in which a cyber attack compromised internal systems and exposed a customer‑partner database, was disclosed by the firm as a security breach that did not require remedial action from affected parties.
