Beloyarsk Nuclear Power Plant, also referred to as Beloyarsky, is a nuclear electricity generation facility located in the Russian Federation. In March 2022, a cyber unit affiliated with Ukraine’s military intelligence breached the business network of Beloyarsk Nuclear Power Plant, exfiltrating contracts, architectural diagrams, alarm system configurations and control system setup instructions. The incident demonstrated that even facilities with specialized nuclear technology can be exposed to cyber‑espionage that may reveal vendor relationships and technical specifications useful to adversaries.

Beloyarsk Nuclear Power Plant is operated by the Rosenergoatom concern, which is a subsidiary of the state corporation Rosatom, Russia’s nuclear energy authority. This organizational placement integrates the plant into the country’s broader nuclear power fleet and its associated fuel cycle services.
