The breach exposed developmental, behavioral, family‑related and demographic information, prompting Kilvington Grammar School to report unauthorised access to its own systems containing birthdates, addresses, Medicare numbers and health data. Attackers privately shared a sample of the purportedly stolen data with the company, and early analysis indicated the intrusion targeted encrypted systems. Victorian government agencies, including the Department of Education and the state’s Cyber Incident Response Service, collaborated with PNORS to investigate the scope of the incident. This event highlighted the firm’s involvement in managing sensitive data and its interaction with public sector responders during a security incident.
