Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is the constitutional body responsible for organizing and supervising elections and referenda in Kenya. It manages the preparation, updating and safeguarding of the voter register, ensuring that all eligible citizens are correctly enrolled. The commission also oversees the delimitation of electoral boundaries for constituencies, wards and other electoral units. In addition, IEBC administers the registration and regulation of political parties and candidates participating in electoral processes.
