In January 2022, the terminal experienced a suspected cyber attack that targeted its management information system, severely disrupting operations and rendering critical digital services inoperable. The incident forced the diversion of at least one container vessel to other terminals within the port complex, halted vessel berthing due to an inability to process required documentation, and led to an estimated several days of downtime, compounding pre‑existing operational challenges.
