The Auditoría General del Poder Ejecutivo (AGPE) is the supreme audit institution of Paraguay's executive branch. It is responsible for external auditing of government accounts and monitoring the use of public funds. Its work includes verifying compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and budgetary provisions. AGPE aims to promote transparency and accountability in public administration. The organisation is headquartered in Paraguay and operates under the authority of the national government. It produces audit reports that are submitted to the executive branch and made available to oversight bodies and the public.

The organisation also coordinates with other Paraguayan oversight institutions to strengthen overall fiscal control. On 1 June 2025, AGPE experienced a cybersecurity incident when unauthorized accesses to its web portal were detected. The breach was part of a wider campaign that affected several Paraguayan government portals, including the Ministry of Public Works and Communications, the National Directorate of Health Surveillance, and the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development. Intruders used credentials stolen by infostealer malware to gain entry, but the incident was contained through coordinated efforts between the Ministry of Technology and the information security officers of each affected institution.
