Presidential Management Staff

The Presidential Management Staff (PMS) is a staff agency of the Office of the President of the Philippines. Its primary function is to provide direct assistance to the President in the formulation and implementation of policies, programs, and projects. The office manages the President’s schedule, coordinates engagements with domestic and foreign officials, and oversees the operations of the Malacañang Palace complex. It also serves as a liaison between the Presidency and the various departments and agencies of the national government.

Structurally, the Presidential Management Staff is an integral part of the Office of the President and therefore falls under the direct authority of the Executive Branch of the Philippine government. It is not a separate corporate entity; it has no parent company or subsidiaries, and its personnel are appointed civil servants serving at the pleasure of the President.
